The members of the online bingo community Bingo Faces can interact with each other via the site forum or private messages, create profiles and buddy lists and share photos. Smyth said that he felt that the online bingo sites are lacking the social aspect, which has always been part of the bingo game. He said that he wanted to create an online bingo community that would allow bingo fans to meet new people and make friends rather than just gambling.
